What Every Catholic Must Know

PLEASE VIEW THIS VIDEO CLIP CAREFULLY.

Replace the names as time passes, but the message remains an unchangeable truth. We must always put life as the #1 priority in our choosing of elected officials into our govenment. Voting IS a matter of LIFE and DEATH decision.

GUIDES TO CATHOLIC/CHRISTIAN VOTING

Neither the Church nor any web site can endorse in any manner or support any specific candidate running for public office, nor can it support a particular political party. However, it is the duty of the Church to explain the stand that the Church has ALWAYS supported, and that is, the candidates we support and vote for in ANY election MUST STAND FOR PRO-LIFE OPENLY. It is the responsibility for all Catholics to proclaim the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church on matters pertaining to obligations of Roman Catholics in public, social-political spheres of their lives, especially when mortal sin is involved.

" A grossly distorted and blatantly misrepresented notion of 'SEPARATION OF CHURCH & STATE' has, FOR FAR TOO LONG, led Roman Catholics to believe and to act as though their private, religious beliefs have no bearing on their public, social, political obligations."

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!!

The purpose of these passages from the Late Father Stephen F. Torraco, Ph.D.'s "A Brief Catechism for Catholic Voters" is to present the authentic teaching of the Roman Catholic Church on matters concerning voting for political candidates.

The Late Father Torraco wrote this catechism for catholic voters in cooperation with EWTN and Fr. Mitch Pacwa. The catechism is quite detailed and has 14 important sections answering questions about voters' responsibilities for voting for pro-life candidates...and consequences. It should and MUST be read by EVERYONE in its entirety at...

www.ewtn.com/vote/brief_catechism.htm

It is our intention to focus solely on #14, since it deals with MORTAL SIN. (The copyright belongs to Stephen F. Torraco 2002  EWTN)

"14. Is it a MORTAL SIN to vote for a pro-abortion candidate?"

YES!!!, candidates who are pro-abortion disqualify themselves from receiving a Catholic's vote if there is a PRO-LIFE candidate running for the same office or position. Being pro-abortion cannot simply be placed alongside the candidate's other positions on Medicare, poor economy, unemployment, for example; because ABORTION IS INTRINSICALLY EVIL AND CANNOT BE MORALLY JUSTIFIED FOR ANY REASON. To vote for a pro-abort candidate knowingly, is to BECOME ACCOMPLICE IN THE MORAL EVIL OF ABORTION...THE VOTER THEN SINS MORTALLY.

***Only when there is no other choice, meaning both or all candidates are not pro-life, then a Catholic may vote according to his/her conscience for the candidate of their choice without penalty of mortal sin.

CATHOLICS ARE OBLIGED TO VOTE IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE MORAL TEACHING OF THE CHURCH TO WHICH THEY PROCLAIM MEMBERSHIP.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE GUIDE TO VOTING AT THE WEB ADDRESS GIVEN ABOVE...AND THEN INFORM YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FELLOW CHURCH MEMBERS TO DO THE SAME.

MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE EVERYONE TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION IN VOTING IN EVERY ELECTION, SO THAT THE EVIL OF ABORTION WILL BE BANNED FOREVER, NOT ONLY IN THE USA, BUT BY YOUR PRAYERS AND ACTIONS, THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WORLD!

MAY GOD BLESS YOU, AND OUR HOLY MOTHER PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES IN THIS CRUCIAL TIME OF OUR COUNTRY'S HISTORY.

WE MUST BECOME A CULTURE OF LIFE, IF WE EXPECT OUR NATION TO BE BLESSED.

PLEASE REFER TO OUR PHOTO GALLERY FOR "AN ELECTION PRAYER TO MARY", A PRAYER WE MUST ALL SAY DAILY FOR OUR COUNTRY'S CONVERSION AND TO END THE EVIL OF ABORTION.
