PRAYER FOR THE UNBORN CHILD
"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn child that I have spiritually adopted and who is in danger of abortion."
During your earthly life this spiritual adopted child of yours will be known only to you God, but in the world to come and throughout eternity both you and this child will find happiness in each other's company.
WORDS OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
PATRONESS OF THE UNBORN
"Listen, my son, to what I tell you now: do not be troubled nor disturbed by anything; do not fear illness nor pain, nor any other distressing occurrence. Am I not your Mother? Am I not life and health? Have I not placed you on my lap and made you my responsibility? Do you need anything else?"
Catholics for Life, Inc.
Dear Jesus, protect and save the preborn. (Say after each decade of the Holy Rosary.)
"PRAYER FOR LIFE"
"O Mary, bright dawn of the new world, Mother of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life: Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time."
PLEA TO THE EVERLIVING GOD FOR THE UNBORN
Lord God, our Eternal Father, we come to Your Throne of awe and reverence at Your Saving Power. Through our Brother ans Savior Jesus Christ, we beg You to help us stop the widespread slaughter of unborn life in our land. May our love for our innocent brothers and sisters closely resemble the love that exists in the Holy Family. Help us provide all human life with protection under our civil laws. We know that through the intercession of Our Mother Mary, Chosen Spouse of the Holy Spirit, and St. Joseph, Chosen Spouse of Mary, our request will be granted through Jesus Christ Our Lord. AMEN
*A seminarian from the Apostolate for Perpetual Adoration was overwhelmed with sorrow and tragedy of abortion while praying before the Blessed Sacrament during his holy hour and was inspired to write down this prayer.
PRAYERS FOR LIFE
THE CONFRATERNITY OF PENITENTS
One apostolate of the Confraternity of Penitents is to pray for all human beings, from conception to natural death, that they may be respected and afforded justice and mercy. Below are prayers for life which may be printed out and distributed courtesy of the Confraternity. Thank you for fulfilling the Catholic Church's Call to penance and repentance in the modern world.
You, Lord have made all the delicate, inner parts of my body,
You fabricated them in my mother's womb.
I praise You for making me so wonderfully.
I marvel at Your workmanship.
You were there while I was being formed in seclusion!
You saw my substance while it was yet imperfect,
And You registered in a book all my members,
And the days of their development.
You recorded this even before my members were formed.
PRAYER FOR RESPECT OF ALL HUMAN LIFE
Heavenly Father, Your cosmic gaze focused on dust,
And You fashioned in Your likeness every man and woman:
Give us, we beg You,
A keen eye to recognize that image,
So that respect for all human life
Becomes our way of life.
Grant this through Christ Our Lord. Amen

PRAYER FOR THE UNBORN CHILD
O God, our Heavenly Father,
You sent Your Son into this world that
He might bless and Consecrate all life to You.
Your constant Love protected Him as the
Ever Virgin Mary bore Him in
Her womb for nine months.
In His mission He taught us the
Greatest of Your Love and the Sanctity of Life.
We pray that we may always cherish the
Life that You give us.
In a special way we ask and pray that
You grace and Protect all unborn children with
Your ever caring Love.
We pray this in the
Name of Jesus, Who is Lord, Forever and Ever. Amen.
Most Rev. Louis E. Gelineau D.D.
PRAYER FOR PRO-LIFE
Through the Holy Spirit,
Mary brought forth the Baby Jesus.
We bring forth Your creation of human life
That we may live in Your image.
Protect the innocent babies,
So mercilessly being murdered by abortion.
Give us courage to oppose those who peddle
Death for profit and convenience.
In Your Name. Amen
PRIESTS FOR LIFE DAILY PRAYER FOR LIFE
Lord God, I thank You today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that You have conquered death by the
Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself,
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life,
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice,
Not just for some, but for all. Amen
PRAYER TO THE AUTHOR OF LIFE
Father of us all,
Author of all life,
I thank You for my life and the appreciation of it.
Please help me respect the lives of all your children,
From conception to natural death.
Let Your Spirit enlighten the minds,
And open the hearts of those who do not fully
Respect all human life according to Your Will.
Please, bring adoption of a
Human Life Amendment Soon.
Thank You, Father. Amen
PRAYER OF LOVE AND LIFE
Dear Lord, through Your Apostle St. Paul,
You have taught us that there are three great virtues;
Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of all is Love.
Help me to understand that in order to love You
And to love my neighbor,
I must be alive.
Father, help me to value my life, and all life,
And give me courage to
Respect, defend, and, if necessary,
Die to protect the right of everyone to live,
As You Will them to. Amen.
Rev. James H. Murray
PRAYER FOR A HUMAN LIFE AMENDMENT
O God, Giver of life
Help us to do our part to save
Unborn babies from death by abortion,
And aid pregnant mothers in distress.
Please strengthen us in our efforts to obtain an
Amendment to outlaw abortion in the United States. Amen
PRAYER FOR PRO-LIFE EFFORTS
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment
In which The Word of God came to earth
As a single cell and made His abode in the
Most pure body of the Virgin Mary.
O Cell Divine,
In that hour hear the prayers that we send You across the ages.
Welcome into Your loving care
The souls of all those children
Who are rejected by their mothers.
Look with compassion upon those mothers
Who are driven by distress and delusion
To seek the lives of their own offspring.
Inspire all Christians everywhere
To seek out and apply Christian solutions to social problems. Amen
SHORT PRAYERS FOR PREBORN CHILDREN
We the living request
Your help for the unborn. Amen
Pray for us sinners,
Save our unborn infants from abortion. Amen
We pray for all mankind
To have the grace to
Understand that each and every
Life has the right-to-life. Amen
Most Re. Louis E. Gelineau, D.D. Bishop of Providence
A PRAYER FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE DIED UNLOVED
Welcome home Your children, the aborted and the abused. Those who knew no loving touch and those who knew no touch at all.
For those given no voice on earth, let them sing in Heaven. For those who saw no loving face in life, let Mary's face, the face of their true Mother, now shine upon them.
If they remember this earthly home, let them know that not all hated them, that not all rejected them. Let them know that there were those who loved the unseen children.
Forgive us for the times we failed to love, failed to protect your children. Forgive us, Lord, and when we join You in Heaven, Let us laugh and play with them in Your presence. Amen
PRAYER TO ST. FRANCIS FOR LIFE
Gentle St. Francis,
You were so devoted to the humanity of Christ.
Your heart burst with appreciation toward God for taking on human life.
You saw beauty and goodness in all living things;
In birds that sing,
The fish that fill our waters,
And all the lives in nature.
Help us to imitate your reverence for life wherever it may be.
Especially, humble Francis of Assisi, help us to help others to
See the worth of each living, unborn baby
Sheltered in its mother's womb.
May all people have the grace to understand
That these tiny, budding lives have the
Right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Amen
A PRAYER FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
God Our Father,
You were pleased to Bless the Virgin Mary with
The gift of brining Your Son into the world.
Graced with the word of God within Her,
She brought forth
Your New and Eternal Life to all creation.
We pray You that as You guided Mary,
Protect and guide all women who carry
New life within them.
May they be ever conscious of the great
Dignity they have been given.
May they turn to You in constant prayer and
Be ever thankful of the Gift they carry within them.
We pray this in the name of Jesus,
Who is Lord of Life,
Now and forever. Amen
Most Rev. Louis E. Gelineau D.D.
PRAYER OF PRESENCE AT AN ABORTION MILL
We are gathered here to spend some time with the little babies before they die. It is important that we be here. It is a way to redeem the abandonment of Jesus by His apostles when they refused to be with Him at His death. We do not fear the Cross.
These little ones dying today are intricately connected with the sufferings and death of Our Savior. There is a bond here that must not be overlooked.
All the political action, education, donation of funds, demonstrations, alternative work, important and necessary as they are, do not make up for an absence at the death scene. Thus, our presence at this killing center is where You, God want us to be. With our rosaries and our prayers, this is our Calvary, where Christ is being crucified today in our midst.
We may not be able to save their lives, but we plead on their behalf. And should they die, as usually happens (God forgive us!), let us lift up our hearts to You on their behalf... it will be the only human love they will know on this earth... Amen
