Choice phrases:

"Church - State Separation"

"Undue imposition

Of religious beliefs

On the public" -

"Undue burden!"

"Unfair demand!"

Pronounced with vexation

And unjustified indignation

Are febrile tricks -

Un-thought through - phrases

Concocted to bamboozle,

Cooked up to befool,

To keep in the dark

Away from the light,

To inhibit expression of truth -

Lame suppressant

Of sober thinking.

For faithful believers

Not to urge truths -

Brought to light

By Redeemer Divine -

About morals and virtue -

The highest good of the public

Is not a case of

Open-mindedness and toleration

But a pathetic sight

Of craven spirit -

A tear-jerking resignation.

To keep apart

Religious faith from public life

Is to enter upon

An unsheltered ground,

Detaching state system from morals

Citizens from their consciences,

Citizens, at large, not conscience-smitten,

Culture, in the main, not conscience-stricken,

Politics liberally devoid of truth,

Laws unfair and brutish,

A loss of tireless hope,

Plague-stricken - ailing nation,

For it failed to unite with truths

Unspeakably finer and greater -

Laboring, in vain, in the main,

Draining away...

For failing in its duty to heed

To "stern daughter of the voice of God"

Failing in duty to heed

To stand sturdy on feet

Little by little dying

For its denying

Truths supreme and undying...

"'We cannot apply moral criteria to politics...' Thus, we mix good and evil, right and wrong, and make space for the absolute triumph of absolute evil in the world... Just save the soul of the people! The rest will save itself."

Dear Conrad P.
Many thanks for your supportive message which is truly appreciated. I am glad that my preaching to myself is - by the grace of God - raising the spirits of others. May abundance of divine grace and communications of the Holy Spirit be with you always!
P.S. Unfortunately, we do not have the feature on our web site that would inform me of new comments, hence the long delay in my responding to your comment. Thanks again for making this Spring day much brighter!

Exactly the TRUTH! Where would society be without God's Loving Touch? All the entries are wonderful and exciting for me to read. I LOVE your style (styles), your powerful titles tickle my curiosity to read on, I am amazed at what I can find in each selection. God bless you and your work.

Dear Dr. Kardas, Glad that you write about the issue of separation of State & Church. Most people don't have a clue what this idea means. The government can't force people to accept any particular religion. The Church however, the truth and moral principles disclosed by God, is the ONLY keeper of morals, without which there is NO hope for any nation! There is NO government that has absolute morals! Where do morals come from? They come ONLY from God! Stern and important truths stated with clarity & bluntness. Enjoying this site! Kudos to your sister on her pro-life work! God bless you both! Pennie & family
