Dr. Dorothy Kardas

Dorothy Kardas is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Theology, who has authored the following Catholic/Christian books:

"Tread of Death: Tragic End to Divine Favor," which is a sketchily undertaken demonstration of the chief moral challenges of modernity in efforts to substantiate and make extrinsic the cardinal truth that adopted practices or omissions can animate and advance either good or evil - that chosen actions and habits or omissive acts and unresponsiveness lead either to darkened, dangerous consciences or prudential awareness and hence promising future. The one who willfully refuses to follow divine and thus unerring and limitlessly beneficial orders is in essence practicing disloyalty and disobedience to oneself, and by habituating in sin destroys charity, which inevitably results in a gradual destruction of spiritual life - death of the soul;

"The Gaping Door: The Search for Truth and Love" is an earnest attempt to show the path to Truth and Love by integrating the unchangeable truths of "Revealed Theology," and the specific ways in ensuring greater authenticity in our lives, as well as, fuller existential participation in the process of personal deification and eternal communion with God;

"Voice of Thunder: Footsteps to Light"; Voice of Thunder - meaning Voice of Divine Truth, both the poetic and essayistic parts are entirely based on divinely revealed Catholic Doctrine; and

"Divine Gage" - A Collection of Christian poetry, as well as, theological/philosophical statements.

Dr. Kardas' clinical work in the mid-west and on the east coast state mental hospitals involved both adolescent and adult populations, predominantly with individuals who had schizophrenic and other psychotic disturbances.
